Biography

April Mooney is an artist born, raised, and currently living in Eau Claire, WI. She also graduated with a major in Painting with a minor in art history from the University Wisconsin - Eau Claire. She went back to UWEC to persue a minor in Multimedia Communication. Growing up in the culture of nature and hunting in Wisconsin, provides inspirations to her current work. Her work manipulates items from nature, mostly wood into painted collage. As well as working into the grain of the wood to enhance it, while painting found items into these works.
